Good Points: The view over Blackheath
Bad Points: Tired decor. Bathroom needed updating. There was no hot water for a bath on Saturday night.
Further Comments: Considering the price, I would have expected the hotel to be more luxurious. The breakfast was quite good, but there were queues for the toast on Easter Sunday morning which seemed unnecessary. We thought room service was good. We stayed in a hotel In the south of France in February and had a room overlooking the sea. The price was slightly higher, but the experience was altogether of a different order.

Good Points: Hotel staff were efficient and friendly.Room was spacious and a lovely view of the gardens.
Bad Points: We felt the decor needed updating, as it was a little tired.Rooms could do with a little modernisation of furniture.
Further Comments: Overall our stay was extremely enjoyable and made for a relaxing and less fretful trip.Directions were clear and organisation of transport to and from the O2 was well located.We would have no hesitation in staying again and would certainly reccommend yourselves to friends and family.

Good Points: The accomodation was close to the o2 arena.
Bad Points: Nothing
Further Comments: The hotel was clean and you were made very welcome, room was very adequate, there was a funny smell, but we just opened the window and that was fine. the beds and bathroom were all clean. Breakfast was served at a good time and was very nice. All in all i would stay here again when visiting this part of London.

Good Points: The room was a good size and clean, however the shower wasn't working very well, water was coming out of the shower and also bath tap at the same time. the hairdryer also didn't work

Good Points: Excellent breakfast, friendly helpful staff
Bad Points: Clean but very tired room - in real need of a refit
Further Comments: Arriving late in the evening meant that Hotel car parks were full. Had to park in local streets and move car before 09.00 next day. Great location overlooking Blackheath, inexpensive rate, really excellent breakfast, helpful and approachable staff. However, my room was amusingly reminiscent of an old fashioned B&B - cramped room, hard bed, very tired fittings, and all very dated. Overall good value for money as long as you are not looking for luxury.

Good Points: very little, we have stayed there on a number of occasions and it is overpriced for what it is, and so far out of keeping with what you would expect in a hotel in the 21st century that it is a joke.Check in check out times, tatty bathroom, torn lino and on and on The only thing we like is it's location, and I am sure that is the only reason they are still in business
Bad Points: abrupt officious staff, tatty facilities/ room, you just don't want to be there
Further Comments: Only continental breakfast in the room, crazy, but when it arrived it was two slices of toast (1 each) tea and two pots of yogurt, had to ask for juice and two more slices of toast and wait 20 minutes, by which time tea was cold, etc. etc.

Good Points: the accommodation was gr8 lovely rooms very friendly, nice meals, perfect would come back again.

Good Points: The room was excellent. The breakfast was excellent. The cleaniless of the room was excelent.
Bad Points: What was very poor was the check-in process. The reception staff was rude and unpolite, which was not the case the following days.

Bad Points: It was tatty, shabby and a bit down at heel - surprising to us, given the location and the target clientel
Further Comments: Overall it was adequate, but it struck us there was so much that could be done to improve and turn the Clarendon into a really special place to stay.

Bad Points: parking difficult at times.Rooms very hot -guest noise at back of hotel when windows open.
Further Comments: excellent location and views over Blackheath . Comfortable accommodation . Great breakfast . Had to move car which is not always convenient .

Bad Points: The toilet leaked all over the floor we were moved to another room which the central heating kept us up through the night

Good Points: decent dining room,and lonuge good breakfast menu and and available untill 9.30 am staff very helpfull and frendly
Bad Points: en-suite dirty and small dirty glasses not taken away and lack of wardrobe space. car parking very limited
Further Comments: Looking at hotel from front view looks very good but let down by parking,and bedroom en-suite and mistake on invoice took 20 mins to rectify when checking out

Bad Points: We requested a couple of champange glasses and were told that they were unavalible, which was dissapointing as family members had bought us a nice bottle of krug champange,

Good Points: clean and orderly with everything you need for an overnight stay, except biscuits!!
Bad Points: No biscuits!! to enjoy with a cup of tea when you arrive. Green tea would have been even better.
Further Comments: we enjoyed our stay, the breakfast was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpfull and the village charming.
