Good Points: comfy bed,nice size, excellent shower nice breakfast in room
Bad Points: non smoking,room was dark,being woken up at 7.45am with a paper we hadnt ordered-reporting this to reception who didnt appear botherd! or even apologise-then knocking the door again half an hour later to retreive the paper. not having any salt pepper sauce etc with breakfast and toast only cooked on one side

Good Points: Good sized bathroom. Good public transport links. Good parking.
Bad Points: Threadbare carpet and upholstery to furniture. Requested quiet room but got the room (201) right next to the loud, banging internal fire door. Newspaper ordered but never arrived. Breakfast was dreadful. Hot food was cold at 9.00am. No fresh juices. No milk or butter on tables and when requested (for the third time) was served in a red hot teapot!
Further Comments: Upon arrival we were not informed of the entitlements due with the package that we'd booked. No information was forthcoming from any member of staff that we dealt with. Total lack of organisation/management at breakfast. Hotel in need of rennovation.

Further Comments: The staff in general were helpful, but we were given a double room instead of a twin as booked, and when that was changed we had to ask twice for towels, which were missing.

Good Points: The room overlooked the courtyard
Bad Points: The room we were first offered reeked of cigarette smoke. The management changed us to another room which was better. One bedside light did not work, this was put right for the second night. We had to hunt for the hairdryer, no one showed us the room or where the facilities were. The hotel did not have a safe deposit facility.

Good Points: The room was fines but the walls are a bit thin - we could hear people talkiing next door, and children playing late upstairs.! But the room was clean and comfortable, and the view onto the courtyard was pleasant.
Bad Points: The wallpaper was peeling around the top (evidence of an earlier flood upstairs?) but overall, no complaints.
Further Comments: In spite of being beside a busy road, the rooms mostly face onto a courtyard so are fairly quiet. A private function meant a very long delay for residents waiting to eat, but the staff were pleasant, and the prices reasonable. The main disappointment was the buffet breakfast which was pretty lacklustre. But I'd stay there again quite happily!

Bad Points: It was very hot and we couldnt get the air con to work properly. The shower was not very powerfull. The TV reception was not very good and there was a light bulb missing in the bedside lamp
Further Comments: The accomodation was adequate. There was a party in the hotel on the night we stayed, so we did get some noise from the disco, but we are open minded that these events will happen. The food in the evening wasnt too bad, but the pizza did not look very nice.

Bad Points: Room too dark and air conditioning not working
Further Comments: That it was a venue for wedding receptions. There was some noise disturbance throughout the early hours of the morningfrom noisy guests.

Good Points: Nice staff, balcony to room overlooking golf course via car park.
Bad Points: Wall paper curling off, telephones did not work and wireless cloud inoperative, though staff tried their best to get it going.
Further Comments: Despite being on a busy road, the accommodation was quiet, excluding other guests who could have been more considerate to early night sleepers. Hotel foyer area smelt rather smokey but this should shortly be a thing of the past. Restaurant area is off a nice courtyard which a lot of bedrooms appear to overlook. There was a good selection of cereals, fruit and cooked breakfast available for breakfast, and a do it yourself toaster with a good selection of bread and rolls.

Further Comments: The hotel needs to sharpen up its act with regard to breakfast. The heated trays were empty and the service was very surly. We felt as though we were an inconvenience.
