Bad Points: The attitude of staff
Further Comments: I would have liked to know what the level of staffing was. It seemed that not one member of staff smiled the whole time my family and I stayed. A pleasant smile does not cost anything. Overseas visitors must think we are a really miserable country.

Further Comments: I really enjoyed my stay with you. the rooms and resturants were / are excellent. I particularly enjoyed the garden area. You were cental to many areas of interest and of easy access. I would have liked more information on the spa facilities. I would also liked to have known about the Friday night events as they were very noisey, however the staff were most accomadating to support my needs

Further Comments: The room was far to hot had to sleep on top of the bed for all 3 nights, and there was a lot of noise outside on the friday night, not good when you rtrying to get to sleep

Good Points: Very clean.
Bad Points: The room was very basic, small and the window tiny. More shelves in the bathroom would have been useful.
Further Comments: We left our room at 11.00 a.m. precisely - check out time. Therefore I was a bit annoyed that we were disturbed at 10.20 a.m. by an eager cleaner and then at approximately 10.50 a.m. by the housekeeper!

Good Points: The room was tastefully decorated and very clean the bars and lobbies were comfortable and the food in the restaurant was nicely presented and the staff friendly and helpful. we thought the grounds were beautiful and well kept.

Bad Points: Room service did not start until 6.30pm. The Hotel bar was closed when we checked at 5.55pm. The restaurant was not open until 6.30pm.

Further Comments: I found the food to be poor. The staff were poorly trained without any idea to customer service. In the bar a customer was sold some much drink that he fell over and was felt on the floor. I actually had to tell the barman to get some assistance. The service in the dinning room was poor with badly trained staff.

Bad Points: It was small. The bed was not a full sized double, as one would not have fitted. The bathroom was ill-lit, ill-ventilated, poky.
Further Comments: Soundproofing being non-existent, whoever walked past the room at all hours of the night we heard their every fascinating word. Being positioned in room 102, over the smokers' corner by the main entrance (basically a raised flower bed with no flowers, into which stubs could be shoved) we were treated to loud drunken conversations for hours (and hours and hours) until around 3.30 in the morning. Towels were barely bath-sized. Breakfast, in pleasant enough surroundings, was substantial but luke-warm.
