open space around the dock to walk

| Further Comments: It would have been good to know about the secure parking next door at the novotel from the website. We parked in the multi-story car park then found the overnight price only lasted to 6am, then returned to hourly rate! But to be fair, when I went into the Ibis to ask about parking I was immediately directed to the best place. |

| Bad Points: The lack of communication between your company following our on-line booking and the hotel made it very difficult to check-in and check-out. This hotel seemed to have a problem with the drainage system. |

| Bad Points: breakfast buffet was spread out oddly with cereals at back which wasn,t easily spotted. Dissapointed that there were little in the way of toiletries and no biscuits with tea and coffee facility. |

| Further Comments: i think the stay is very good value for money, room was nice and clean-if i had to gripe then it would be a lack of car park. I've stayed at other Ibis hotels before and they had free parking. The service at reception wasn't poor, but it was very abrupt and not warm, and not enough tv channels. |

| Bad Points: It wasn't the most convenient location for me but that was my error when booking. Would still consider using again. |
| Further Comments: I now have a much better idea of the lay of the land than before I booked so this wouldn't be first choice again. However the hotel is convenient for the DLR which has a very regular service through the day, but beware of the cutoff time at night. For anyone visiting the Excel Centre it would be ideal. I was concerned when I saw a hoard of kids returning from a show but once I was in my room I didn't hear a thing. This was my first visit to an IBIS hotel and if this is the standard I would be happy to use them again. |
